Get a Web3 Wallet

You need a cryptocurrency wallet to hold $HYBRIDHIVE tokens. We recommend MetaMask for beginners.

Option A: MetaMask (Recommended for Beginners)

  1. Download MetaMask:
    • Visit: metamask.io
    • Click "Download" and install browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge)
    • Or download mobile app (iOS/Android)
  2. Create New Wallet:
    • Open MetaMask extension
    • Click "Create a new wallet"
    • Set a strong password (you'll need this every time you open MetaMask)
  3. Secure Your Recovery Phrase:
    • MetaMask will show you 12 words (your "seed phrase")
    • Write these down on paper (NEVER digital/screenshot!)
    • Store in a safe place (this is your ONLY way to recover your wallet)
    • Confirm the words in order to complete setup
⚠️ CRITICAL WARNING:
  • NEVER share your 12-word recovery phrase with anyone
  • NEVER type it into any website or app
  • MetaMask/Support will NEVER ask for your seed phrase
  • If you lose it, you lose access to your funds FOREVER

Buy Crypto (BNB or ETH)

You need to buy the native cryptocurrency of the blockchain $HYBRIDHIVE is on. We're on BSC (need BNB) and Base (need ETH).

For BSC (Binance Smart Chain):

  1. Buy BNB on Exchange:
    • Create account on Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, or crypto exchange of your choice
    • Complete KYC (identity verification) if required
    • Deposit fiat currency (USD, EUR, etc.) via bank transfer or credit card
    • Buy BNB (Binance Coin)
  2. Withdraw BNB to MetaMask:
    • In exchange, go to "Withdraw" or "Send"
    • Select BNB
    • Choose network: BSC (BEP-20) ⚠️ Very important!
    • Paste your MetaMask wallet address (click MetaMask → copy address)
    • Confirm withdrawal (may take 5-30 minutes)

For Base Network:

  1. Buy ETH on any exchange
  2. Withdraw to MetaMask on Ethereum mainnet
  3. Bridge to Base using official bridge: bridge.base.org
⚠️ NETWORK SELECTION IS CRITICAL:
  • For BSC: Select "BSC" or "BEP-20" network (NOT ERC-20!)
  • For Base: Select "Base" network
  • Wrong network = lost funds (can't be recovered!)
💡 TIP: Buy a bit more BNB/ETH than you plan to spend on $HYBRIDHIVE. You'll need some for gas fees (transaction costs).

Add BSC/Base Network to MetaMask

MetaMask defaults to Ethereum. You need to add BSC or Base network manually.

Add BSC (Binance Smart Chain):

  1. Open MetaMask
  2. Click network dropdown (shows "Ethereum Mainnet" by default)
  3. Click "Add Network" or "Custom RPC"
  4. Enter these details:

Network Name: Binance Smart Chain

RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

Chain ID: 56

Currency Symbol: BNB

Block Explorer: https://bscscan.com

Add Base Network:

Network Name: Base

RPC URL: https://mainnet.base.org

Chain ID: 8453

Currency Symbol: ETH

Block Explorer: https://basescan.org

💡 EASY METHOD: Visit chainlist.org and search for "BSC" or "Base" - click "Add to MetaMask" for automatic setup!

Buy $HYBRIDHIVE on DEX

Now you're ready to swap your BNB/ETH for $HYBRIDHIVE!

Using PancakeSwap (for BSC):

  1. Go to PancakeSwap:
    • Visit: pancakeswap.finance
    • Click "Connect Wallet" → Select MetaMask
    • Approve connection in MetaMask popup
  2. Swap BNB for $HYBRIDHIVE:
    • In swap interface, select BNB (top field)
    • Click "Select a currency" (bottom field)
    • Paste $HYBRIDHIVE contract address (see below)
    • Enter amount of BNB you want to swap
  3. Adjust Slippage (Important!):
    • Click settings icon ⚙️
    • Set slippage tolerance to 4-5% (due to 3% transaction fee)
  4. Confirm Swap:
    • Click "Swap" button
    • Review transaction in popup
    • Click "Confirm Swap"
    • Approve in MetaMask (pay gas fee)
    • Wait for confirmation (usually 3-30 seconds)

Using Uniswap (for Base):

  1. Visit: app.uniswap.org
  2. Connect wallet and switch to Base network
  3. Follow same swap process as PancakeSwap

⚠️ VERIFY CONTRACT ADDRESS:
  • ALWAYS verify contract address on official website: hybridhive.io
  • Scammers create fake tokens with similar names
  • Triple-check before swapping!

Add $HYBRIDHIVE to MetaMask

After buying, you might not see $HYBRIDHIVE in your wallet. You need to add it manually.

  1. Open MetaMask
  2. Scroll down to "Import tokens"
  3. Click "Custom Token"
  4. Paste $HYBRIDHIVE contract address
  5. Token symbol and decimals should auto-fill
  6. Click "Add Custom Token"
  7. Click "Import Tokens"

Now you should see your $HYBRIDHIVE balance! 🎉

💡 TIP: If balance doesn't show immediately, wait a few minutes and refresh MetaMask. Blockchain confirmation can take time!
